This one goes out to all you unsupported distros. I'm working on Ubuntu 6.10.
As per the beta install guide, I set up XULRunner 1.8.x hoping that Notes 8 for Linux would use that for the internal browser (my version of firefox is v2.0 and the guide calls for v1.8.0 not greater, not less than) as I want to play with living in the expeditor environment, but it seems not to be respecting that choice.
When I set the default browser to the OS all the blog & web links work fine. I hope to set up a Virtualized install of SuSE 10 and see what the file tree looks like, but in the meantime, can anyone, preferably the dev team tell me what XULRunner resources the client would want to access? If firefox and XULRunner are both installed, is there a way to specify which to use? My guess is a quick bit of sym-linking will fix 'er all up, but there may need to be a notes.ini entry somewhere in there.
Along those lines, where is Notes expecting the gnome default applications list to be located? I had to wrestle with this before with the R7 client, but I can't find my PMR notes on the topic. :(
Thanks in advance,
Sam
